Like the character infobox, this uses ParserFunctions (``) and is meant to be filled in by hand on each family hub page — not auto-generated. Family membership should be treated inclusively: anyone who joins the household by blood, adoption, or marriage belongs on the page, since "chosen family" is a recurring theme across Roberts' sagas.
This template auto-applies and, if a `series` parameter is given, the matching `[[Category:{{{series}}} characters]]` category — keeping family hub pages discoverable alongside the characters that belong to them.
